Great performances by POC athletes at the Ski X World Cup in Japan (2/20/2007)

The third Freestyle FIS World Cup competition in ski cross took place Friday in Listel / Inawashiro (JPN).
In the last World Cup run of the season and front of the home audience, POC-skier Japan's Hiroomi Takizawa took the victory. Takizawa finished 3rd in the over all World Cup.
Another great POC-skier, Audun Groenvold of Norway, the winner of the season's first two World Cups, finished 12th in final race narrowly holding onto his World Cup lead and claimed the small crystal globe signifying the victory in the over all World Cup.
In the ladies' competition, POC-skier Magdalena Iljans of Sweden finished second, equal to her position overall. POC-skier Valentine Scuotto of France finished in 8th place and 6th in the over all.
