With the experience developed in optics, through our goggles, we decided to take the next step with the conviction that we would also be able to make a difference in this field as well. Our sunglasses use NXT lenses, which were initially developed for fighter jet canopies. The properties include extreme impact, temperature and chemical resistance, together with superior optical performance versus the existing technologies, ii.e. polycarbonate.

Level 01 - The NXT base material is for best optical pro- perties. Basic fixed tint. Anti scratch, oleophobic, anti-reflective and hydrophobic coatings.

Level 02 - The NXT base material is for the best optical properties. HCD or a Polarized filter to increase the performance in specific situations. Anti-scratch, oleophobic, anti-reflective and hydrophobic coatings.

Level 03 - The NXT base material is for the best optical properties. Optimized lens properties are either for use in Dirt & Surf or Snow & Ice sports use. Adopting photochromic lenses with HCD properties. Polarized filter in the Dirt&Surf lens. Anti-scratch, oleophobic, anti-reflective and hydrophobic coatings.

In the 1990’s the US Army required a lightweight transparent material that would provide ballistic protection without compromising optical performance. This new material would have to provide reliability, protection, weather resistance, along with ballistic and optical requirements. The material was further developed into NXT ® lenses.
