POC was awarded the "Star of Observeur" for the Receptor+ multi sports helmet at the grand opening of the Design Observeur 10th anneversary exhibition organized by the APCI (the French design promotion agency). The award recognizes outstanding products. The winning products were selected by an international jury among products that had already been recognized for innovative design by being awarded the Design Observeur 09 quality label. All the Design Observeur quality label products and Star of Observeur products are featured at the exhibition at the Cité des sciences et de l'industrie in Paris, France, from October 2008 to February 2009. Thereafter, the exhibition will tour Asia, South America and Europe. The Design Observeur is recognized as a quality award by ICSID (the International Council of Societies of Industrial Design).
