Data Scientist/Digital Sales Analyst Europe
POC is looking for a talented sales analyst. This analyst will collate and analyse both internal and external data, in order to create insightful reporting that shapes important strategic decisions.
POC is a fast-growing company that needs a sales analyst who can take our digital sales performance to the next level. We need an analyst who is capable of compiling and analysing data from a range of sources, in order to forecast trends.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Gather and analyse diverse data from different sources to understand chances and challenges and bring them to light.
- Collate and analyse data, in order to effectively forecast sales trends, understand business performances, customer trends, and market developments.
- Mine data and analyse large amounts of information to find patterns and solutions
- Review sales data from the past, in order to better understand trends.
- Analyse trends and differences between European markets from internal and external data sources to define focus areas and help shape a market specific merchandise and advertising approach
- Generate accurate, clear reports and explain complex trends
- Regularly share actionable information with the European Digital team in order to guide strategic decisions, optimise promotional strategies and increase sales and revenue
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or marketing
- Strong math and statistics skills
- Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of statistical programming languages and databases
- Familiarity with key business-intelligence software (Power BI, HotJar, Google Analytics etc)
- Experience with data visualization tools
- Flawless oral and written communication abilities
- A keen eye for detail and great organisational abilities
- Proven ability to take the initiative
- Skills with multitasking and prioritising key reports
